At the heart of the Robo SawJet 2.0 lies a robust foundry-grade KUKA KR 210 robot, equipped with a powerful 26HP saw motor and a 50HP H20 waterjet. Renowned for their high reliability and precision accuracy, KUKA robots are the go-to choice for the most demanding applications, including those in automotive plants and aerospace. Unlike custom-built gantry machines, robots require significantly less maintenance. Annual upkeep on the robot involves greasing (2) zerk fittings, and an oil change is recommended at either 10,000 hours of use or after 5 years, whichever comes first. Maintenance for the waterjet on the Robo SawJet is streamlined for simplicity. The waterjet lines are easily accessible on the exterior of the robot, eliminating the need to navigate through conventional cat tracks as seen with some competitors. This user-friendly design is complemented by BACA's Waterjet Made Easy exchange program.

With the waterjet functionality, blade overtravel is a thing of the past, allowing for pieces to be nested closely together. This Tetris-style approach to cutting countertop parts optimizes slab utilization to the fullest. The elimination of blade overtravel ensures you are fabricating the most countertop parts out of each bundle. In situations when a small part is required that wouldn't fit in the initial slab(s), utilizing the waterjet minimizes the necessity to purchase additional slabs (second or third) for the same project.

Equipped with a robust 26HP saw motor and a 50HP H20 waterjet, the Robo SawJet is designed to process the most intricate countertop parts with unmatched precision. By leveraging the waterjet to shape sinks, arcs, radiuses, and other non-linear cuts reducing downstream labor drastically or increase CNC Router output by 30%.

Fabricators utilizing CNC Routers can increase output by 30% on each CNC Router through pre-shaping non-linear cuts on the SawJet with the waterjet. By pre-shaping the sinks, arcs, radii and other non-linear cuts with the waterjet, the CNC Router can focus exclusively on edging and polishing. This becomes particularly crucial as a dual-table SawJet has the capacity to feed up to three CNC Routers, making output optimization critical, especially when considering that the combined cost of a SawJet and fully tooled-up CNC Router is comparable. Notably, this approach also extends the spindle life on the CNC Router by eliminating the side-load exerted during the countertop shaping process, a significant cost-saving consideration given the high expense of CNC Router spindles.

The Robo SawJet offers the flexibility to upgrade from a single table to a dual table in the future. Incorporating a second table can boost output by up to 100%, effectively doubling production on the machine. This strategic approach involves loading/unloading the adjacent table while the other table is in operation, effectively masking the associated downtime. Investing in a scalable machine like the Robo SawJet is crucial to protect your investment as your business expands. Unlike competitive bridge-based gantry machines, the Robo SawJet allows for this scalability, eliminating the need to sell and repurchase machinery. This ensures a more cost-effective and streamlined growth trajectory for your business.

Following the footsteps of its forerunner, the Robo SawJet 1.0, the Robo SawJet 2.0 maintains a smaller footprint than rival bridge-based models. This feature is crucial given the current scarcity of shop space and the escalating costs of real estate.

The Robo SawJet 2.0 features low-profile tank(s) accessible from three sides, providing a clear advantage over bridge-based competitors that restrict access to the front of the table. This design eliminates the need for operators to climb onto the table to reach pieces that are otherwise inaccessible. Fabricators often find it convenient to fold pieces directly off the table onto a cart equipped with wheels.
