Horizontal machines make processing larger countertops safer and easier because they are much easier to handle (load/unload) versus vertical machines. The Musa was designed with both backsplash & full countertop pieces in mind.
Easy to use software & a color touch screen make it very easy for the operator.
Pads and tooling on the machine are very accessible, making it easy and fast for the operator to replace worn tools. This minimizes downtime and ensures the operator is getting a quality polish every time.
Musa has an optional calibrator, equipped with diamond tool, that can be positioned to mill the B-side of pieces to gauge the thickness of the material for the full length of the slab, minimize the need for using shims at installation. Calibrator is adjustable to a 90 degree position to grind back the glue line on laminated/stacked pieces.
Vertical spindle allows for smooth of the underside (B-side) of parts. This function is commonly used to make the underside of overhangs smooth to the touch.
