President and CFO
Kevin joined BACA Systems in 2019 after many years of successful leadership within waterjet and robotic solution integration organizations for companies such as KMT, TECHNI Waterjet and Robotic Production Technology (RPT). Previously, Kevin was the treasurer and vice president of Operations for FANUC America Corporation. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in corporate finance from Walsh College. Kevin also is a licensed CPA in Michigan.
Chief Executive Officer
Chuck has many years of successful entrepreneurial experience and over 35 years of implementing more than 4,000 robotic and waterjet technology solutions. Prior to founding BACA Systems, Chuck owned Surface Encounters, a stone fabrication shop in Macomb, Michigan, producing 1,000 square feet per shift. Chuck was also the founder and owner of Robotic Production Technology (RPT), a robotic systems supplier for the composites, plastics, automotive, aerospace, construction and marine industries. Chuck’s experience at RPT led him to introduce robots, including the industry-leading Robo SawJet™ programmable saw and abrasive waterjet cutting system, into the stone fabrication industry in 2014. Chuck studied Business Administration at Northwood University and received technical training at Ferris State University.
Chief Technology Officer
Prior to joining BACA Systems in 2022, Whitney held various leadership positions in Engineering, Operations, and Industrial Automation Sales with Adaptec Solutions, a leading provider of robotic automation and material handling systems. Previously, Whitney served in several engineering and market development roles with Genesis Systems, a robotic systems integration company. Whitney holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
VP of Operations
Bryan joined BACA Systems in 2016 as the project management lead, with over 20 years of experience in leadership, management, and project management. In 2019, Bryan transitioned to director of Operations, and in 2022, he was promoted to vice president of Operations. Prior to joining BACA Systems, Bryan was a team leader at Dow Chemical for 10 years. Bryan holds certificates and associate degrees in computer science and process technology from Delta College and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University.
Director of Human Resources and Safety
Lisa joined BACA Systems in 2022 as the director of Human Resources and Safety with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Prior to joining BACA Systems, Lisa held HR and safety manager roles with Kwangjin America and Heller Machine Tools. Lisa is a Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management.
